Dust off those cleats ladies, because Spring at Kaos means game-time galore!

Celebrate longer days and warmer weather with a fun and competitive womens ultimate league! All experience and fitness levels are very welcome so bring your friends along. The aim of this league is to provide a welcoming environment for players who are new to the sport and a gentle reintroduction to more seasoned players who may have had some hibernation time over winter!

DETAILS

All games will be held on Thursday nights at College Park in Nedlands between 6:30 and 8:30pm. The League will run over 5 weeks from 13/09/18 – 11/10/18.

FORMAT

Teams will be ‘hat’ style so players will register as individuals and be assigned to a team prior to the first round of play. For new players if you would like to be placed on a team with a friend you are very welcome to email your preference to kaosultimateclub@gmail.com

This league will be using some adjusted team sizes, field sizes, timings and rules to maximise participation regardless of registration numbers. This will also make for an exciting and different event!

• Games will be 5v5 players on the field.
• Fields will measure 70m x 30m.
• Games will consist of 4×15 minute quarters (like netball), with 2 minutes between quarters and a 5 minute half time.
• Substitution is permitted between points.
• Time between points is limited to 45 seconds from the time the goal is scored to the time the next pull must go up.
• Calls and rules discussions are capped at 30 seconds after which the disc must go back to the previous pass.
• For winning a game the winning team earns 4 ladder points. Teams can also earn bonus points for winning each quarter. A maximum of 8 points is therefore available for each round. Losing teams still have the opportunity to win bonus points for each quarter (Modelled after Suncorp Super Netball).
