Australian National Season

For intermediate to experienced players looking for further competition and development opportunities our major competitive season runs from November – April in the Australian separate gender season.

We having been sending teams to represent Kaos at the Australian Ultimate Championships (Division 1 and 2) every year since 2009.

2021 Season update (11/11/20)

Ultimate Australia has announced that the Ultimate Australia Tour will not run in 2021. The Australian Ultimate Championships Division 1 and 2 are planned to go ahead in April. See full article here

Season Timeline

Selections for these teams are held in November/December with the training and competition season running from January to April.

    October 2019 – Athlete Registration open

    November 2019 – Team selection events

    December 2019 – Team training commences

    Christmas/New Year Break

    January 2020 – Team training resumes

    February 2020 – UA Tour Qualifer (Division 1), Western Regionals (Division 2)

    March 2020 – UA Tour Event 2 (Division 1)

    April 2020 – AUC Division 2 (17-19, Canberra), AUC Division 1 (23-26, Adelaide)

    May 2020 – End of Season Awards Night


Throughout the season Kaos teams train twice weekly – Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30-8:30pm at College Park, Nedlands.

Invitations for to join the training squad on a regular or occasional basis are offered at the discretion of the team coach. Please contact to enquire.


In 2020 there are significant changes to the Division 1 season with the introduction of the Ultimate Australia Tour. Costs for the Division 1 season are TBC.

The Division 2 season typically costs players around $1000-$1200, depending on the location of AUC. This includes flights to AUC, accommodation at AUC, tournament fees for AUC and Western regionals, uniforms, club membership, coaching and ticket for the Kaos End of Season function.

Other competitive playing opportunities

For players who are not ready for the commitment of the full Australian Nationals season, we also send multiple teams to Western Regionals (WA State Championships), held annually in February. Follow us on facebook to stay up to date with new events on the horizon!
