Kaos celebrates 10 years of Booyah!

Friends, supporters and Kaos members, past and present, caught up on Sunday to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the formation of Kaos at the picturesque setting of Mosman Park Bowling Club.

Kaos shirts and tournament discs from each year of the club’s history were proudly on display at the beautiful venue overlooking the Swan River at sunset.

Guests heard a brief history of the team with speeches from incumbent President, Ebony Taylor, and inaugural President, Kierin “Kizza” Jane, who was not only one of the founding players, but also helped the team become an Incorporated Club in 2014.

In addition to representation at multiple international tournaments, including the upcoming WUCC, Kaos has competed at every Australian Ultimate Championships since 2009, making them is the longest continuously represented Women’s Ultimate team in Australia. An accomplishment the club proudly celebrated with laughs, snacks and Lawn Bowls.

Special recognition of the enormous contribution of time and energy to keep the club running over the years must go to John “JD” Damiani, Sarah Brereton (and the Brereton family home!), Casey (Meakins) Peet, and all past and present committee members.

Follow our story as we continue to grow and develop in 2018 and years to come.
